Nutrients are made of major molecules which in turn are mainly made of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur, phosphorous. In addition there are some ions needed as nutrients like sodium, chloride, calcium, magnesium. Each of these elements has its own cycle in nature, though curricula only teach the major ones like the water cycle which includes hydrogen and oxygen, and the carbon cycle which includes carbon and oxygen, in addition to the nitrogen cycle which includes nitrogen, oxygen, and hydrogen.
