The Great Wall of China. Kinda.

Explanation:

While the answer to this question is the Great Wall of China (GWC), It should be said that GWC was a collaboration. It took many years, as well as many kingdoms/dynasties, to create what we now refer to as GWC.

I should also note here that Shi Huangdi was not the first nor the last to build parts of GWC.
