Explanation:

They change for the same solvent, but different substance of the drop. It has to do with polarity. Compounds of high polarity can dissolve other compounds of similar polarity. Same goes with non-polar compounds. In this case, the solvent has the same polarity for all the compounds, but the compounds themselves that are ascending have different polarities with each other, so the distances they travel are different. The one with polarity closest to that of the solvent will travel the greatest distance.
