Explanation:
Like the bacteria, archaea are prokaryotic cells. They do not have membrane bound organelles, nor do they have a nucleus.
When archaea reproduce, they make a copy of their DNA and then the cell divides into two new cells. Each new cell gets a copy of the DNA molecule. This process is called binary fission .
