Explanation:

The nervous system and the endocrine system regulate and coordinate body functions by sharing in a unique partnership. Jointly they maintain growth, maturation, reproduction, metabolism and human behavior.

The hypothalamus of the brain (a part of the nervous system) sends directions via chemical signals to the pituitary gland (a part of the endocrine system). The pituitary is occasionally referred to as the master gland of the system, because many of its hormones stimulate the other endocrine glands to secrete their hormones.

All these hormones along with signals from nervous system regulate our body homeostasis and functions.
