Transform fault.

Explanation:

Plates on the Earth move around and generally are either being pulled apart (divergent boundaries) or colliding together (convergent boundaries). However, because the Earth is a sphere, they must also slide past each other in some locations - these locations are called "transform" faults. It is even possible for plates to be sliding past each other while subducting at some angle, both at the same time. Its a matter of how stress is taken up.
