the general relation between X-scale, Y-scale may help

Explanation:

#(X-l_x)/(u_x-l_x)=(Y-l_y)/(u_y-l_y)#
where X = reading in X-scale
Y= reading in y-scale

#u_x# =upper fixed point of X scale
#u_y# =upper fixed point of Y scale
#l_x# =lower fixed point of X scale
#l_y#=lower fixed point of Y scale

In our case
X- scale is Kelvin
So #u_x# =upper fixed point of X scale = 373
#l_x# =lower fixed point of X scale=273

and y- scale is Fareheit
#u_y# =upper fixed point of Y scale=212
#l_y# =lower fixed point of Y scale=32
#(X-273)/(373-273)=(62-32)/(212-32)#
# X=100/6+273#=16.67+273 = 289.67
