To find the slope, you must do (y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

Here:

(6-2)/(2-6)

=4/-4

= -1 (That's your slope!)

To find the y intercept, you must use y=mx+b and sub in one of your points.

y=mx+b
y=-1x+b
6)=-1(2)+b
6=-2+b
6+2=b
8=b
