Radioactive isotopes that have too much neutrons and/or too much mass can't really handle them and want to get rid of them to get stability, but even though virtually every element has at least one radiocative isotope, most of the ones you can find have extremely low radioactivity, for example, you yourself is slightly radioactive due to elements like potassium and iodine in your body.
