What did Earth look like before humans evolved?

I guess similar to today but with more forests and no man-made structures.
Explanation:
Anatomically modern humans appeared about 200,000 years ago and behaviourally modern humans about 45-50,000 years ago.
This is a pretty short time frame compared with the age of the Earth (about 4.6 billion years) and not much has happened on a large scale in the last 200,000 years apart from man's influence.
One thing that did change about 200,000 years ago was the separation of Britain from mainland Europe due to a great flood.
Much more recently, Neolithic farming techniques along with associated deforestation arrived about 4000 BC. Before that, man seems to have been more of a hunter-gatherer.
