The melting point (when it changes from a solid to a liquid) for alcohol is a lot lower than it is for water. Whereas water has a melting point of #0^oC#, the melting point for alcohol is #-114^o#. So alcohol can be frozen, but only in very low temperatures (a home freezer goes down to about #-10^oC# and very cold freezers can go from around #-50^oC# to #-90^oC#) Hope this helped!
