How did scientists discover the dwarf planets in our solar system?

1 Answer

Dwarf planets were detected by the same way as we detect planets and satellites.Dwarf planets reflect sun light. So we can see them in large telescopes..

Explanation:

Most dwarf planets re smaller and they are far away than the the Planets and they receive very less light from Sun..So systematic observation over long periods only they were detected.
