Middle ear bones are Malleus, Incus, Stapes. These are responsible for transferring and amplifying the vibrations from outer ear to inner ear.
Explanation:
When sound vibrations hit the tympanum/ear drum of outer ear, the membranous tympanum starts vibrating. That vibration should be transferred to oval window of inner ear , after amplification.
This is because oval window of inner ear is smaller in size.
