If ln x is real, ln (-x) is complex.

A function f(x) is even or odd according as $f (x) = \pm f (- x)$ $f(x)=+-f(-x)$ .

For even functions, the graph will be symmetrical about the x-axis.

For odd functions, the graph eill be symmetrical sbout the origin.

ln x is defined fo x > 0 and it is an increasing function for

$x \in (0, \infty)$ $x in (0,oo)$ ..

So, ln xis neither odd nor an even function.
