Explanation:

First you take the term that is outside each of the parenthesis and multiply it by each of the terms inside the parenthesis like so:

Finishing each of those multiplications leaves us with:
#7x^3+7x^2+x^2+x-6x-6#

Now we add/subtract the common terms:
#7x^2+x^2=8x^2#
#x-6x=-5x#
leaving:
#7x^3+8x^2-5x-6#
