The Peace Corp have helped meet critical needs in the Countries where they have served and helped to improve America's image in the world.
Explanation:
As a Peace Corp volunteer from 1973-1976 I served in Swaziland a developing country. I taught science in a local middle school. Swaziland had a shortage of trained teachers especially in science and math.
As a volunteer I met a critical need at the time I served. I also trained a Swazi teacher to take my place. So when I left the country I left the country better prepared to meet their own needs.
While in the country I answered many questions about life in America and American values.
Like most Peace Corp Volunteers I served as an informal ambassador for America.
