#x^2.y^6#

Explanation:

#x^4=x.x.x.x=x^2.x^2#

If you do not understand letters, try to use numbers. Let's say, #x=2=>x^4=2^4=2.2.2.2=(2^2).(2^2)=4.4=16#

The dot means multiplication. It is the same as saying #2^4=2xx2xx2xx2#

So #x^4.(y^6)/x^2=x^2. color (red) cancel (x^2).y^6/ color (red) cancel (x^2)=x^2.y^6# because by canceling #x^2# and #x^2# I get #1# and #1# which does not really matter because we are multiplying.

Your answer is #x^2.y^6#

Hope this helps :)
