So, the question is actually saying

#9n+5=32# and now, solve for #n#.

It is quite simple to do. All you have to do is to put your #5# on the other side of the equation then divide the sum by #9#. Don't forget that by putting #5# on the other side, you have to change its sign.

#9n+5=32#

#9n=32-5#

#9n=27#

#n=27/9#

#n=3#
