The equation of the circle with center #(h, k)#

#(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=a^2#

In our problem -

#h=-1#
#k=-5#
#a=2#

Then the equation of the circle is-

#(x-(-1))^2+(y-(-5))^2=2^2#
