1) Subtract $5 w$ $5w$ from both sides
$\Rightarrow 8 + 5 w - 5 w = 4 w - 5 w$ $=> 8+5w-5w=4w-5w$
$\Rightarrow 8 = - w$ $=> 8=-w$

2) multiply both sides with $- 1$ $-1$
