How do you think the Age of Exploration might have been different if China had not stopped its transoceanic voyages?

China could've colonise the Americas

Explanation:

That is a very good question! I have always thought about that too so I am glad your brought it up.

As we all know, the Spanish rediscovered the Americas after the ice bridge melted. China could have possibly went to the Americas by going north, following modern Alaska and head on to the West of the Americas. They could have been allies with the Aztecs and the Incas, or wage war against them.

The United States would have not exist or it would just look different on the map. Major cities in the USA such as Los Angeles and San Francisco would not exist either or they are renamed to a Chinese name to fit it.

Another scenario is that Spain conquers the east of the Americas and China conquers the west of the Americas, and China will become a powerhouse, making their possibly one of the largest empires in the world.

Sadly though, they stopped their transoceanic voyages and focus more on trading with Europe, because Europe had all this goods from the Americas, especially Spain.

Have a great day/night! Hope this answers your questions! If it does not, forgive me.
