In the years leading up to World War ll, how were Germany and Japan's goals similar?

They both wanted to take over the world.

Both Germany and Japan had similar goals, to conquer the whole world. They are both imperialistic empires. They both believe that they are powerful enough to take over the world, so they did.

Japan wanted to take control of the Asian continent, constantly attacking innocent regions.

Germany wanted to take control of Europe and maybe the whole world, so they would need someone like Japan so they could be best friends.

Other empires see this as a bad thing (which it is), so when World War 2 happened, the USA dropped the bomb on 2 of Japan's cities. Russia took over the capital of Germany (Berlin), thus making Japan to surrender and Germany losing the war.
