How do you convert L to millimeters?

Think of a large bottle of water. Usually it is 1 liter which is equal to 1000ml! Usually a small bottle is 500ml, so the large would be 1000ml which (is one liter). Ex. If you have 2L to ml = 2000ml

Explanation:

The #"milli"# prefix #-=# #1xx10^-3#.

And thus #1# #"millilitre"# #-=# #1xx10^-3*L#; i.e. #1*mL=(1*L)/1000#, or #10^3*mL=1*L#.
