you can do this in one of two ways:

1)

multiply by 3:

#24 * 3= 72#

#n=72/36#

simplified, #n=2#

2)

look at the denominators:

#36/3=12#

this means that #24/n=12#

(divide by 24)

#1/n=12/24=1/2#

#therefore, n=2#
