Internal conflict is a situation when a person has dillema what he/she can do.
For example:
In "Antygone" by Sophokles the main character is in conflict situation because she cannot decide if she has to burry her brother (which would satisfy the rules of religion, but be against the law introduced by her father) or not to burry him (which would not break her father's law but would be against the religion)
External conflict when 2 (or more) sides have different views on a situation.
