What would be the forces on the free-body diagram of a flag?
I have determined two forces, but cannot discern any others, beside the force of gravity [down] and force of wind [east].

I agree on the force of gravity and that of the wind. Depending on how the flag is attached, I imagine there would be a tension force from the cable/rope/etc. which holds it up.
