Why are the orbits of all the planets and dwarf planets alike, around the sun, in the same direction?

All of them formed from the gas cloud called Nebula.
Explanation:
When the cloud began to collapse due to gravity it began to spin..So all planets, dwarf planets etc started spinning and going round the central object the SUN.
