The four layers are,

  • Crust
    It's around 50-60 km in depth. It's a solid layer of rocks in which we live on.
  • Mantle
    It is the widest of the 4 layers which is up to 3000 kms in depth. The mantle mainly consists of magma, which is molten rock.
  • Outer core
    It's a layer similar to the inner core with extremely high temperatures.
  • Inner core
    It is the centre part of the Earth. It consists of nickel-iron alloys.
