The four inner planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars.
Explanation:
The four inner planets are the four rocky planets which have orbits nearest to the Sun. Mars being the outermost of the inner plants have an orbit of about 1.5AU from the Sun.
Jupiter being the first of the outer planets is much further away at about 5.2AU. The outer planets are all gas or ice giants.
The inner planets are all rocky. In order of distance from the Sun they are Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. Earth is the largest of the inner planets. Venus is almost as big as Earth. Mars and Mercury are smaller.
