Explanation:

first we need to see where does the vector condition is applied ,
we get a coin on the table , we got chance to hit it in any direction ,because it is free to move in any direction .

here we go in another example of water in a straight tube , when we apply pressure from back side of the tube the water flows in forward direction ,it has only one direction to flow ,

similarly ,in conducting wires which are unidirectional ,they have only single path to conduct electricity it so it is not indipendent to conduct in any other direction , thats why its scaler quatity not vector
