#(log(x))^2 - log (x)^2 = 3#

This is a quadratic in #log (x) #:

#(log(x))^2 - 2 log (x) - 3 = 0#

We can factor it:

#( log(x) + 1)( log(x) - 3) = 0#

#implies log(x) = -1,3 #

Then it depends upon what base you are using. Assuming #log_(color(red)(10))#

#implies x = 1/10,1000 #
