The first step is to distribute #-5(x-2)#.
Which is #-5x+10#.
Now we have this:

#6x-45=-5x+10#

To solve this you add #5x# to both sides, the #5x# on the right cancels out.

#6x+5x-45=10#

Then you add #45# to both sides the #45# on the left cancels out.

#11x=10+45#

Now you are left with:

#11x=55#

Divide both by sides by #11# and you get:
