#-4x +y = 5#

Explanation:

#y-13=4(x-2)#

step 1: get rid of the parenthesis by using the distributive property

#y-13=4x - 8#

Step 2: move the x and y to the same side of the equation I decided to move the x to the left side

#y-13 - 4x =4x - 4x - 8 -> y -4x - 13 = -8#

Step 3: Move the constants to the side without the variables in this case add 13 to both sides.

#y -4x -13 +13 = -8 +13 -> y -4x = 5#

Step 4: standard form typically puts the x first...don't forget to take the negative sign with it.

#-4x +y = 5#
