How would I use bildungsroman in a sentence to describe the genre of a text? Should I say it's a bildungsroman novel, or say it's a novel of the bildungsroman genre? I dont know what sounds better. And how do you pronounce Bildungsroman?

See explanation.
Explanation:
I think that you do not need to add the noun 'novel', because it is included in the name Bildungsroman. It is a germabn compound noun consisting of: Bildung = education and Roman = a novel. So if I had to use it in a sentence I would just write
*X is a Bildungsroman. *
I looked the word up in 'The New Oxford American Dictionary' and in 'Oxford Dictionary of English' and both dictionaries write it with the capital letter.
