Explanation:

I did take an interest in memorising piπ when I was much younger, but did not bother to memorise it past about 4040 decimal places.

My method was to memorise groups of about 55 or 66 digits at a time, making sure I remembered them, before memorising the next group a day or two later.

It is not particularly useful to know piπ to this accuracy, but I guess it makes a little party trick.

If you do not really want to memorise a whole load of digits, then just memorise 355/113 ~~ 3.14159293551133.1415929 which is an excellent approximation to piπ discovered by a Chinese mathematician about 15001500 years ago.
