My thought process here is that #y = -2x# and #y=mx# only intersect at the origin (unless m = -2 but that is redundant). For these three lines to be concurrent the third must also pass through the origin, the only way this can be achieved is to have

#x = 0#

ie

#k = -m#

This is the least and only value of k for which these lines are concurrent.
