  4. Proteins enter the secretory vesicle.
  5. Proteins exit the Golgi apparatus from the trans face ((exit face)). Then, they exit the plasma membrane, thus the cell.

The secretion pathway are the most effective method to 'produce' specialized proteins ready to complete their duties.
