=#(1/x+1/y)/(1/x-1/y)#

=#[(y+x)/(xy)]/[(y-x)/(xy)]#

=#(y+x)/(xy)*(xy)/(y-x)#

=#(y+x)/(y-x)#

1) I used #x^(-a)=1/(x^a)# rule.

2) I equated denominators.

3) I used #(a/b)/(c/d)#=#a/b*d/c# rule.

4) After simpliication, I found this result.
