#(b+3)/7-(b-3)/6=0#

Multiply through by #7# and then by #6#:

#6(b+3)-7(b-3)=0#

Multiply out the brackets:

#6b+18-7b+21=0#

#-> -b+39=0#

#-> -b=-39#

#b= 39#
