The mature RBCs of the mammals lack nucleus except camels. At the time of formation of RBCs in the bone marrow, RBCs are nucleated. Except mature RBCs in camels, the nuclei of the RBCs of other mammals disappear at mature stage to carry maximum amount of oxygen. Thank you
