In the form of ATPs, also known as energy currency.

The human body need energy which we give it in the form of food we eat. The food we eat usually contain glucose. It also comes from stored glycogen in the cell. The oxidation of glucose produce energy. That's why when we do some extreme physical activities i.e jogging, running etc we are burning extra glucose and at the same time generating more heat.
