What are some examples of sublimation in nature?

Hoar frost and sublimation of snow on sunny days.

Explanation:

Hoar frost is vapor to solid sublimation of water vapor onto very cold surfaces. You will often see it on tree branches.

You will also see solid to vapor sublimation in very cold areas when it is a clear day. It is not uncommon for the amount of snow to decrease an obvious amount even when the temperature is well below freezing on a clear day.
