Does anybody have any example/examples of a metaphors, simile, hyperbole, alliteration or personification that i can use in my speech about malaria in Africa?

Malaria is a modern day Black Plague

Explanation:

This is an example of a simile using a direct comparison or statement. It is also an example of a Hyperbole. The black death killed up to 50% of the population of the areas affected.

Note malaria can killed up to 25% of the population of an area. and the genetic mutation that allows 50% of the population to be immune to the malaria sporazoa kills another 25% of the population so it is not so much of a hyperbole as it first sounds
( the genetic mutation sycle cell anemia ) is a switch of an A for a T in the DNA . This simple mix up of information is harmful to the red blood cell allowing the immune system to attack the malaria that hides inside the red blood cells. (
