Explanation:

Wavespeed (m/s) is frequency (Hz) multiplied by wavelength (m)

#v = f xx lambda#

You may have seen the triangle method (or know some other way) for rearranging (transposing) this equation, you will certainly need one, so if not message me / ask again and we’ll get that bit sorted too.

Oh, just re-read the question. The frequency (or wavelength) increasing on its own would raise wavespeed. Generally though, what happens is one rises as the other falls to give a constant wavespeed in any medium.
