Power # P = VI#, where V= voltage, I = current

# = V xx V/R# ------since # V= IR=> I=V/R #-------- ohms law.

#= V^2/R#

#= 24^2 / 480 = 1.2 W#

#therefore P = 1.2W#

If you want the current, then:

# V= IR #-------- ohms law.

#I = V/R = 24 /480 = 0.05 A#
