Via the Haber process.

Explanation:

Assuming your asking 'How is ammonia formed?':

It is made with the Haber process, a high temperature and high pressure gaseous reaction between hydrogen and nitrogen:

3 H2 + N2 ==> 2 NH3

Hydrogen is cheap and nitrogen is 78% of the air. Ammonia is a fertilizer and a base in chemical reaction.

Just in case you actually meant the ammonium cation (NH4+), it is formed when ammonia is reacted with any acid:

NH3 + H+ ==> NH4+
