  • We have a rule that if two vectors are #color(red)u# and #color(red)v# and the angle between them is #color(red)theta# ,then the resultant of these two vectors or, the mod value of the sum of the two vectors is #R=color(red)(sqrt(|u|^2+|v|^2+2|u||v|costheta#

  • The angle of the resultant with a given vector is #color(red)(tan^-1((bsintheta)/(a+bcostheta))#

Hence,the magnitude of the resultant is #color(red)sqrt(11^2+15^2+2cdot11cdot15cdotcos65^@)=22.03("approx")#

and the angle is #color(red)(tan^-1((15sin65^@)/(11+15cos65^@))=20.08^@#
