#2#. Our need for water #"H"_2"O"#. Water is another compound which us humans need to consume on a daily basis to continue functioning. We are so reliant on this chemical that our bodies are made up of around #70%# of #"H"_2"O"#.

#3#. Think about the solids that are present in our environment. Your desk, the chair you are sitting on, your phone, a tree, and yourself! These are all examples of solids. If solids (matter in a condensed state) did not exist, then we would probably not exist. The universe would not have planets as we know them (for example), and rocky planets like Earth would not exist at all.
