Yes. ALL resources are sustainable.

Explanation:

The difference between "sustainability" and not is the usage and demand, not the material. It is really incorrect to look at resources as sustainable. The REAL question is what level and type of human use keeps something sustainable.

Poor (wasteful) usage practices and over-demand (population) for a resource can make anything unsustainable. Most, if not all, pollution and sustainability issues today are the result of an imbalance between demand/usage and availability.
