Please see the steps process below;

Explanation:

#2y - 11 = 4x#

Well from the expression I think you want to get the Standard Form..

Recall Standard Form Equation is;

#Ax + By = C#

Hence;

#2y - 11 = 4x#

Subtract #4x# from both sides

#2y - 11 - 4x = 4x - 4x#

#2y - 11 - 4x = 0#

Add #11# to both sides

#2y - 11 - 4x + 11 = 0 + 11#

#2y - 4x - 11 + 11 = 11#

#2y - 4x + 0 = 11#

#2y - 4x = 11#

Multiply through by minus #(-)#

#-(2y - 4x) = -11#

#-2y + 4x = - 11#

#4x - 2y = -11 -> "Standard Form"#

Hope this helps!

I don't think that there is any way to solve to an equation with two variable where the two variables are related to each other only by the given information .
It may be that i couldn't understand the question so in that case i could mention a possible outcome . put any value for y to get consicutive value of x or vice-versa . You can check the grahical represntation if tbis equation at
